CASE-ing Tuesday #218 To an A+ Teacher

Hello Friends!!

It’s a day late but welcome to another episode of Case-ing Tuesday!! This week’s sketch uses the sample on page 3 of the 2019 Holiday Catalog.

So if you are unfamiliar with Case-ing Tuesday… every Tuesday there is a post of a sample card from the Stampin’ Up! Catalog along with a sketch with measurements posted to a group called Case-ing Tuesday (on Facebook). To play along all you have to do is either make the card that is shown or put your own flair to it! This is a great starting point to find inspiration and to create inspiration.

School is in full session and it’s never too late to thank a great teacher. I used a few different techniques on this card. The first was sponging the embossed background in Cherry Cobbler ink. It really makes the textured background pop! The second was creating a chalkboard look on the Basic Black Cardstock. It’s a school themed card…so why not? I used the powder from the embossing buddy to dust white powder onto it. Cool huh?!? Then course I had to use the fabulous Stampin’ Blends!
