Happiness is a Cup Card

Here is a lovely card I created using the Coffee Cafe’ Stamp Set. I must say that I am in love with this new stamp set. I don’t drink coffee at all but I love the set. Every now and then I try a sip, but still cannot acquire the taste for it. I prefer hot chocolate!

You can find a list of items I used to create this card further down! This card is a standard A2 card and measures at 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ in Thick Whisper White. I took a piece of Tempting Turquoise Cardstock and cut out a 5-1/4″ x 4″ matte. The 3rd layer (or matte) measures 3″ x 4″ in Whisper White. On a scratch piece of Whisper White , I stamped the coffee cup image with foam and fussy cut them out. I did not want the foam to be attached separately. I also stamped the corrugated image onto a scrap piece of Tempting Turquoise and die cut it out. To color the cup, I used the watercolor technique with the Crumb Cake ink and Aqua Painter. I then attached the pieces together creating the cup you see. I stepped it up a notch, by adding the corrugated heart embellishment and rhinestone. I stamped the sentiment onto the 3″ x 4″ whisper white in basic black and added a few final touches with little hearts (also in the set) in Crumb Cake ink and rhinestones. Finally, I assembled the card using snail adhesive and dimensionals for the cup. Voila! You have a cute coffee card!

I hope you enjoy creating this card. It was a lot of fun to make. Here is a list of materials I used:
