My First Stampin’ Up! Party

My very first official launch party for my Stampin’ Up! Business is was this past Saturday the 20th of May. It was a great time with good food, amazing friends, crafting fun. I had done a lot of research and planing to make sure things were in order for the event. I’m so thankful that they took the time out of their busy schedules to come and support me.  Im not going to lie, it was really difficult to pick 1-2 cards as a make and take but I commited.

With advice from my Upline (Alicia), my upline’s upline (Dena), and many other demos, the party was a success. The consistent tip I recieved was to keep it simple. Simple is hard for me sometimes. So, I decided to create these 2 cute cards. The first is from the Mixed Drinks Stamp Set. I got the idea from page 106 in the current catalog. I did remix it because I am still building my product stash and used the items I currently had. The second is from the Petite Petals and Gorgeous Grunge (both are retiring 😦 ).

Set-up was a bit exhausting but a breeze. I had to make multiple trips from my craft room upstairs!  I didn’t realize how much stuff I had. I have so much, my hubby even asked how did all of that fit in that small room upstairs :). It does!! Here are some pics of my display and work station table…

Each place setting had a french fry box with 3 chocolate goodies. The cute little Zippa bags had everything needed to do both projects, a door prize slip, a wishlist, pen, and a bookmark with the new 17-19 In-Colors.

Everyone had a great time!! And I was amazed at how beautiful everyone’s projects turned out! The most awesome thing about it is that they all put their own personal touch into their creations. I loved the color combos.

So although this was my first event, i think it went quite well. I had so much fun and I look forward to more of these events in the future. Nothing beats eating good food and hanging with great friends!
