Super Hero Bear Birthday Card- Using Cricut Explore Air 2

FullSizeRenderI created this adorable card for my coworker’s son who was turning one. I had been asked to create a super hero themed banner for his one year smash cake photo shoot and it came out lovely so I decided to try my hand at making a birthday card verses doing what I usually do and buy one. How hard could it be….right?!  So putting my creativity to the test, I buckled down and locked myself in my craft cave and for 4.5 hours with much trial and error (still learning to use my machine), I was able to create my very first birthday card. I’m actually proud at how it turned out and would you know it, this process has opened me up to another world of crafting. Card making!!

I used the following materials to create this card:

Cricut Explore Air 2

Cricut Design Space & Images ( I’m a subscriber to Cricut Access)

Super Hero Bear from Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge

Moon from Solar System Catridge

Note Card (Cloud) from Cricut Craft Room Basics

Badaboom Font from DaFont.com

Cardstock form my stash- Not sure of what brands

*glitter silver, glitter red, white, yellow, blue, black, smoke

ZIG 2 Way glue- favorite glue!!

Sharpie Permanant Marker

Glue gun
